Watch The Evil Woods

The evil woods is a slasher movie that is set in the woods of an unknown state and focuses on a group of college-aged teenagers who meet up in a parking lot and then plan a camping trip to drink, party and do all of the things that rambunctious teenagers do. They go to a backwoods gas station to get fuel, and they meet Steve, who cajoles them into going on the trip. They get into his Land Rover and drive off without incident.

As they drive off, the film cuts away to a bearded individual working on a older model pickup who looks on with a foreboding stare. John is one of the major characters, and most of the scenes present him speaking several random and various vulgarities, usually to the girls in the group, who also spend most of the early part of the trip complaining. The groups gets a good fire going, and a bearded man stumbled upon the party. He tells them a mysterious, spooky story where an individual burns to death and then his spirit is said to be roaming the woods, killing people who infringe upon his territory.

Later on in the film, John and his friend encounter the same mysterious stranger who was tinkering with his car at the filling station. He looks at them with menacing eyes and warns them, "The woods are not safe!" Come to find out, the tires to the Land Rover have been slashed. Later on, this same man is watching John and Steve talk and another individual, called "the Deranger," comes and bashes the man against the tree and kills him. Then he finds John and hits him with the axe. He then proceeds to kill two of the girls by ramming the axe into their backs.

Meanwhile, Steve and his girlfriend are staying with the car, and the man with the axe comes and kills him in the same manner. Steve's girlfriend survives the attack and falls asleep in the Land Rover. When she wakes up, she meets the hiker, and then the Deranger comes again with the axe and swings it, and that is where the movie ends.

The Evil Woods is a 2007 horror movie with a runtime of 1 hour and 23 minutes. It has received poor reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 2.5.
