A war between the United States and Russia leads to the limited deployment of nuclear weapons. In a desperate effort to negotiate a peace treaty, the United Nations requests the best diplomats each country has to offer be sent to broker a disarmament deal. Hot-headed U.S. Army man Tom Batanic leads the U.S. team. USSR Special Forces member Sergei Schvackov heads the Russian side. The two men attempt to settle the conflict with an armed one-on-one battle in a nearby forest.
