This feature-length documentary seeks to examine the history and effects of atomic weapons that were dropped on Hiroshima and Nagasaki, Japan, during the final days of World War II. The filmmaker, a long-time student of the history of nuclear science, takes viewers on a globetrotting journey from a peace museum near the epicenter of destruction in Japan all the way to a nuclear science museum in the United States.

With interviews with some of the last remaining survivors of America's nuclear attack on Japan, plus news reel footage and comments from today's nuclear scientists, the film asks and answers the question of, "What would happen if the U.S. or another nation dropped a nuclear bomb today?"

The Forgotten Bomb is a 2010 documentary with a runtime of 1 hour and 35 minutes. It has received moderate reviews from critics and viewers, who have given it an IMDb score of 6.2.
