The story is about a young man named Maxim Kammerer played by Vasiliy Stepanov, who is a space explorer and a member of a scientific mission sent to explore a distant planet called Saraksh. However, they crash land on the planet during a violent storm, and Maxim ends up separated from his team. He wakes up on the strange planet, which is inhabited by a society known as the 'Noons,' who are quite different from humans.

Maxim soon realizes that the 'Noons' are being oppressed and enslaved by another race called the 'Draags' who are technologically advanced and have enslaved the 'Noons' to do their bidding. The 'Draags' are taller and more robust than humans, and they use advanced technology to control and monitor their slaves. Soon, Maxim becomes a freedom fighter advocating justice and equality for the 'Noons' and tries to revolt against the 'Draags' to help the oppressed 'Noons.'
