A caring Japanese lord is faced with certain death when he is attacked by Yuki Daijo. Yuki enlists the help of a wizard in order to get the job done. When the lord is murdered, Yuki and the wizard take the lord's place at the throne. The lord's son was spared death by a bird that whisked him away while his parents were slain. A magic wizard sent the bird, but the wizard was killed in the process. The boy returns ten years later to seek revenge for the death of his parents and his wizard friend.
