The King of Crete bends to the will of the Minotaur. This beast is an abomination created by the gods and is half bull, half man. The only reason he doesn't devastate the island is the steady supply of human female virgins provided by the inhabitants. These maidens are a food and sexual sacrifice to the Minotaur. This burdensome practice continues until one hero falls in love with a beautiful maiden destined for darkness in the labyrinth of the Minotaur. In Olympian fashion, he decides to challenge the Minotaur in the depths of his own dark abode.
