The Raid: Redemption

The Raid: Redemption movie is about Rama and some 20 Swat officers who are tasked to secure an apartment block. The team is led by Sergeant Jaka and his Lieutenant named Wahyu. They were undetected at first. However, they were spotted by a lookout who sounded the alarm before they could take him out. The building is run by the crime lord, Tama Riyada. Tama calls reinforcements that took out most of the Swat members. Tama regained control of the building. Tama then cut off the power to the building. He then announced that he will give free residence to anyone who can kill the remaining SWAT members.

During the heat of the battle, Jaka learned that their raid is unsanctioned. This means they cannot call for backup. The SWAT team was forced to be split into two groups. Other team was on the fifth floor, while the other team was on seventh floor.

Rama and Bowo proceeded to hide in one apartment. A gang arrives to inspect the apartment, but they avoided detection. Rama decides to go out and fight again leaving Bowo behind because of his bullet wound. However, it was not long that Rama was captured by Tama'r right hand man named Andi.

Tama's henchman, Mad Dog, also found Jaka and his group. Wahyu barely escaped the confrontation. Jaka and Mad Dog proceeded to have their man to man fight. However, Mad Dog ultimately kills Jaka.

In another scene, Andi reveals himself to be the lost brother of Rama and promised to keep him safe. Tama found out about Andi's betrayal in one of the camera feeds. Andi then gets his hand stabbed by Tama before he is handed over to Mad Dog.

Rama, Wahyu and Dagu was then reunited and proceeded to take out the narcotics lab. Rama finds Andi beaten by Mad Dog as he goes up the building. Andi and Rama then teams up to kill Mad Dog. Dagu and Wahyu meet up with Tama and confront him. However, Wahyu suddenly shoots Dagu and takes Tama as hostage as a ticket for his escape. While being held hostage by Wahyu, Tama states the depth of corruption in their own police force. After Wahyu learned about the whole corruption and realized that his bravery and actions are meaningless, he then shot Tama in the head and attempted to shoot himself. However, he ran out of bullet at that very moment.

The final scenes of the movie were about Andi handing out to Rama all the list of known corrupt officers. Rama asked to Andi to leave the apartment with him. However, Andi refuses, claiming that he is beyond saving. Rama leaves the apartment block with Bowo and Wahyu, while Andi returns to the apartment.
