The Super Cops is a 1974 film starring Ron Leibman and David Selby, directed by Gordon Parks. The film is based on the true story[citation needed] of two policemen known as "Batman and Robin" on the streets of New York City. The film was released the year after the successful cop movie Serpico (also based on a true story).
