The Unprecedented Defense of the Fortress Deutschkreuz is a West German short film directed by Werner Herzog, who described it as a satire on war. In the movie, four men find an abandoned castle that had been the site of a battle during World War II. They break into it and find old military gear and uniforms. Dressing up as soldiers, they decide to defend the castle. There is no dialogue, but the movie does have a narrator who talks about war and other topics.
