The Wicked is a 2014 horror movie directed by Peter Winther, who is best known for his work on Independence Day and Stargate. The group soon realizes that they have awakened an ancient evil that has been dormant in the house since the cult's demise. The evil takes the form of a witch who was supposedly burned at the stake by the townspeople, and now seeks revenge on the descendants of those who killed her.

As the night wears on, the group tries desperately to find a way out of the house and escape the witch's wrath. Along the way, they encounter several other characters, including a local priest (played by Vinnie Jones) and a mysterious stranger (played by Christian Slater). It soon becomes apparent that the witch's power is too strong to be stopped by conventional means, and the group must find a way to defeat her before it's too late.

The movie's plot follows a fairly standard horror movie template, with plenty of jump scares and gore to keep the audience entertained.
