Watch Thirteen Princess Trees

This 2006 dramatic movie is based on the Chinese novel Blade vs. Blade by He Dacao. It chronicles the interesting lives of several students at the fictional Thirteen Princess High School in Chengdu. It portrays youth sexuality and delinquency. But in contrast to the novel, the movie's topics are tamed considerably for audiences. The movie's 98 minutes were filmed entirely on 35 mm Fuji stock film, an unusual feature.

Feng is a tomboy with short hair. She has a love crush on a jock, Taotao. But when Bao arrives as a new student from Beijing, Feng finds herself attracted to him as well.
