Barbara Penfield is the child of a man who made his fortune off laundry. She wants her father to help her boyfriend by investing in one of his schemes. Barbara’s father refuses the help because he believes that her boyfriend is nothing more than a fly by night hustler. She does not care what her father says, she just knows that her boyfriend is going to make good on his dream. Barbara decides that there is only one way to get the money. She sells her car behind her father’s back, but a series of events just might help her get over her boyfriend.
