Two of a Kind is a romantic comedy from 1983, starring the iconic duo of John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John. Directed by John Herzfeld, the movie follows the story of two people who, despite their differences, are brought together by a divine plan. Travolta plays the character of Zack Melon, a small-time crook who is trying to get rich quickly while avoiding the cops. On the other hand, Newton-John plays the character of Debbie Wylder, a no-nonsense bank teller who is frustrated with her mundane life.

The two lead characters are complete opposites, but they both have one thing in common - they are both unhappy with their current situation. Little do they know that a higher power has a plan for them.

The movie begins with the arrival of two angels named Charlie (Charles Durning) and Earl (Oliver Reed) on earth. Their mission is to save humanity from destruction by finding two people who can fall in love and reproduce, thereby starting a new generation of morally sound individuals.

Charlie and Earl discover that Zack and Debbie are two likely candidates for their mission. However, the duo is not interested in falling in love with each other. The angels decide to intervene and use their supernatural powers to bring Zack and Debbie together, causing a string of hilarious events.

As expected, the initial meeting between the two leads is not pleasant. Zack tries to rob Debbie's bank to pay off his debts, but Debbie foils his plan. The two part ways, but Charlie and Earl are determined to bring them together. They use their powers to create a blackout in the city, causing the two protagonists to get stuck together in an elevator.

As the two are forced to spend time together, they start to warm up to each other, and a romantic spark begins to develop. However, their happiness is short-lived as Zack's criminal past catches up to him. He soon finds himself on the run from the police, leaving Debbie behind.

Debbie, meanwhile, has a change of heart and decides to help Zack out of his predicament. Together, they embark on a journey to find a way to save the world and start a new generation of humans.

Throughout the movie, the two lead characters face several hurdles and moments of comic relief, all while being unknowingly watched over by Charlie and Earl. The angels pop in and out, trying to steer the two leads in the right direction.

The chemistry between John Travolta and Olivia Newton-John is undeniable in this movie. The two brought their star power and musical talent to create a fun and lighthearted comedy. The movie's soundtrack is yet another highlight, featuring popular songs like "Take A Chance" and "Twist of Fate."

Overall, Two of a Kind is a quintessential '80s movie that is sure to leave you feeling entertained. It offers a unique blend of comedy, romance, and science fiction, making it a must-watch for fans of the genre. The movie's tagline sums it up perfectly - "It's not easy being human...especially when you're in love with one."
