Vaana is a Telugu-language romantic drama film directed by M.S Raju. The film was released in 2008 and featured Vinay, Meera Chopra, and Ajay in the lead roles. The film was a commercial success at the box office and received mixed reviews from critics. The movie begins with a rural backdrop where a young boy named Manu (Vinay) has a dream of marrying the love of his life, Anu (Meera Chopra). Anu is a happy-go-lucky girl who lives in the city with her parents. Despite never having met each other before, Manu is in love with Anu and refuses to consider any other woman as his life partner.

One day, when Anu visits her grandparents' village, she meets Manu and is initially uninterested in him. However, over time, she warms up to him and starts falling in love with him. The two of them spend a lot of time together, and Manu tries his best to impress Anu.

However, Anu's father (Ajay) is against the relationship and wants her to marry someone from a higher social status. He is not happy with Manu's job as a flower vendor and rejects his proposal to marry Anu. This forces Manu to take some drastic steps to prove himself to Anu's father and society.

With the help of his friends, Manu becomes a successful businessman and a respected member of the society. However, despite his success, he is not able to win over Anu's father, who is still against their relationship. Manu then decides to take matters into his own hands and makes one last effort to convince Anu's father to accept him as his son-in-law.

The movie's storyline is simple and straightforward, but it moves at a slow pace. The first half of the movie deals with the development of the characters and their relationships. The love story between Manu and Anu is sweet but lacks depth. The chemistry between the lead pair is good, and they share some cute moments together. However, the lack of tension and conflict in their relationship makes it feel like a one-sided love story.

The second half of the movie picks up pace, and the plot becomes more engaging. The conflict between Manu and Anu's father adds some tension to the story, and the audience is invested in knowing how the story will unfold. The climax of the movie is satisfying and provides closure to all the characters.

The film's music was composed by Kamalakar and was well received by the audiences. The songs are catchy and melodious, with some of them becoming popular chartbusters. The cinematography by S. Gopal Reddy is beautiful, and the locations used in the movie are picturesque.

The performances by the lead actors are decent, but nothing outstanding. Vinay, who plays the male lead, does a good job in portraying the innocent and romantic character of Manu. Meera Chopra, who plays Anu, looks beautiful on screen and does well in her role. Ajay, who plays Anu's father, performs well and convinces the audience in his role as the strict, authoritative father.

In conclusion, Vaana is a pleasant and entertaining movie that can be enjoyed with the family. The movie's plot may be predictable, but it is executed well and provides some enjoyable moments. The movie's music and cinematography are noteworthy and add to the overall experience.

Vaana doesn't appear to be available from any streaming services.
