Valley of the Wolves Iraq is a 2006 Turkish action-drama film directed by Serdar Akar. The movie follows the story of a group of Turkish commandos who go to Iraq to track down the American soldiers responsible for the death of Turkish Special Forces and the abduction of a Turkish journalist. The movie begins with a brutal attack by US forces on a Turkish military convoy in Northern Iraq. The Turkish government demands an explanation from the US government, but the response is inadequate. The Turkish Prime Minister decides to send a group of commandos to Iraq to investigate and bring those responsible to justice. The team, led by Polat Alemdar (played by Necati Sasmaz), sets off on a dangerous mission to find the culprits.

During their mission, Polat and his team encounter a number of obstacles, including corrupt Iranian officials and an American private security contractor named Sam William Marshall (played by Billy Zane). Marshall is a mercenary who is known for his brutal methods, and he quickly becomes the main target of Polat and his team.

As the story unfolds, the tensions between the Turkish forces and the American forces escalate, leading to a violent confrontation. Polat and his team must fight their way out of Iraq, and the film ends with a cliffhanger, leaving the audience wondering what will happen next.

One of the strengths of Valley of the Wolves Iraq is its excellent cinematography. The film was shot on location in Iraq, and the filmmakers have done an excellent job of capturing the look and feel of the country. The movie features some stunning landscapes and cityscapes, and the action scenes are well-choreographed and exciting.

Another strength of the film is its strong performances from the cast. Necati Sasmaz is excellent as the tough and determined Polat Alemdar, and Billy Zane is suitably menacing as Sam William Marshall. Ghassan Massoud also puts in a fine performance as the corrupt Iranian official who is working with Marshall.

However, the film has also been criticized for its portrayal of Americans. The American characters in the film are all portrayed as cold, calculating and ruthless, with no redeeming features. This has led to accusations of anti-American sentiment, and the film has been banned in some countries because of its content.

Overall, Valley of the Wolves Iraq is a gripping action-drama that will keep audiences on the edge of their seats. The film is well-directed and well-acted, and the story is thrilling and engaging. The cinematography is excellent, and the film captures the look and feel of Iraq perfectly. However, some viewers may find the portrayal of Americans in the film to be problematic, and this may detract from their enjoyment of the movie.
