Watch Venus Peter

Voted one of the top 20 Scottish movies of all time, Venus Peter tells the story of Peter who is baptized with salt water and becomes the sea child of ancient legend. Peter appears to find some form of solace and escape from his small community in Northern Scotland through the imagination of Princess Paloma and his teacher, Miss Balsidie. Neither of his friends measure up to the ideals of Peter who must search for his own piece of happiness within his unhappy life.
