Vijetha is a 1985 Telugu drama film directed by A. Kodandarami Reddy and produced by Allu Aravind under the banner Geeta Art Pictures. The movie stars Chiranjeevi, Bhanupriya, and Sharada in lead roles. It is considered one of Chiranjeevi's best performances and is regarded as a classic in Telugu cinema. The story revolves around a middle-class family headed by Ranga Rao (Chiranjeevi), who is unemployed and lives with his mother (Sharada) and sister (Anitha). With the financial situation worsening, Sharada gives in and sells her home to put Ranga through military school. After training, Ranga becomes a respected soldier and is posted to the Indo-Pak border. On his return, he plans to marry Bhanupriya and start a new life, but tragedy strikes, leading to a series of emotional events that test Ranga's determination and will to live.

The movie excellently portrays the struggles and hardships of a middle-class family, highlighting the importance of family values and the relationship between a mother and son. It also sheds light on the sacrifices made by parents for the betterment of their children.

Chiranjeevi, in his role as Ranga Rao, delivers a powerful performance, showcasing his acting prowess and versatility.
