Warriors of the Apocalypse is a 1984 action-adventure movie directed by R.J. Kizer and written by George Stover. Set in a post-apocalyptic world, the movie follows the story of a group of warriors who set out on a dangerous mission to protect a small village from a gang of ruthless marauders. The movie begins with an introduction to the world after an apocalyptic event has devastated the planet. The survivors are left to fend for themselves in a barren wasteland where water and resources are scarce. The story follows Michael James, an experienced warrior, and his comrades as they encounter a small village under threat from a group of violent outlaws. The village is led by a woman named Linda, played by Deborah Moore, who is the only one brave enough to stand up to the marauders and defend her people.

The marauders are led by a ruthless and sadistic leader named Shank, played by Ken Metcalfe. Shank is a man without any morals, who enjoys terrorizing the villagers and looting their resources. When Linda's village comes under attack, Michael and his team of warriors decide to help them. Their initial plan is to escort the villagers to a safe location, but they later realize that they need to stop Shank and his men from terrorizing any other villages.

The movie is filled with thrilling action sequences as the warriors engage the marauders in battle. The warriors use all their skills and weapons to fend off the attackers and protect the villagers. The movie also has a romantic subplot between Michael and Linda, which adds an emotional touch to the story. There is also some humor in the movie provided by a character named Saba, played by Michael Warsaw, who is a lovable eccentric member of the group.

The movie's cinematography is excellent with stunning shots of the wasteland and the ruined cities. The music score by Richmond G. Mathews is fitting and conveys the mood of the story perfectly. The costumes and production design also deserve applause as they create a believable post-apocalyptic world.

The characters in the movie are well-developed, and the actors deliver impressive performances. Michael James is convincing as the heroic and stoic leader of the group. Deborah Moore, daughter of famous actor Roger Moore, gives a commendable performance as the brave leader of the village. Ken Metcalfe is excellent as the cruel and sadistic Shank, who is a perfect villain for the story.

Overall, Warriors of the Apocalypse is a fun and exciting post-apocalyptic movie that delivers on the action and the story. The movie may not have had a big-budget or an all-star cast, but it managed to create a believable world and characters that are easy to root for. If you are a fan of action and adventure movies set in a dystopian world, then Warriors of the Apocalypse is definitely worth a watch.
