This movie tells the story of a group of men who call themselves "The Three Mesquiteers". This group consists of Stoney Brook, Tucson Smith, and Lullaby Joslin. Upon arriving back to their home state of Texas after the Civil War, the Mesquiteers notice that there is a battle tearing the state apart. It is between two factions known simply as The Bushwackers, and The Carpet Baggers. These two gangs have been going at each others throats for quite some time, and the tension is spilling into neighboring communities. It is up to the Mesquiteers to solve the issue at hand and prevent any more violence.
