Wide Awake, also localized under the title of Return, is a South Korean film from the '00s. In '80s South Korea, a boy has been traumatized after undergoing an experience of consciousness while his body was anesthetized for heart surgery and nobody believes that he was aware of what was going on then. A quarter century later, any sort of medical professional associated with his curious procedure has started to die off in strange ways. Dr. Ryu believes that a kid from childhood may be the murderer and his only suspects are Lee, a stalker, and Uk-hwan, a deranged individual.
