Marie and Frank had the perfect marriage for twenty years. They had one daughter. Frank became ill and died from his illness. After his death, the daughter became afflicted with the same symptoms as her father. When the hospital ran tests on their daughter, they discovered arsenic in her blood. The authorities decide to dig up Frank's body. The investigation revealed Frank also had large levels of arsenic. Marie is charged with murder, but she escapes. Later, she tries to fake her own death.
