Brad Pitt Saves a Woman's Life Amid Zombie Battle

Brad Pitt Saves a Woman's Life Amid Zombie Battle Having your life saved by anyone is pretty cool. Having your life saved by one of the greatest (and hottest) actors of modern cinema is…well, the stuff movies are made of.

Amid filming of a chaotic zombie take over in Scotland, Brad Pitt played a hero in real life on Thursday night while saving a woman from being trampled on set.

As The Huffington Post reports, Pitt was in character as Gerry Lane during an intense shooting scene for “World War Z” that involves masses of people who are trying to outrun the living dead through Glasgow’s George Square.

When a woman fell over during the stampede of fearful extras and face eaters, Pitt dashed to her side, scooped her up and carried her away from harm.

The distressed dame didn’t even have a chance to thank her rescuer: they just kept filming. Afterwards, however, she shared her appreciation and was able to nurse what an onlooker described as “a badly-grazed knee.”

The film, which has a number of associated injuries on the turbulent set, is based on Max Brooks’ popular novel about a zombie apocalypse.
