Emma Watson Addresses '50 Shades' Rumors

Emma Watson Addresses '50 Shades' Rumors Is Emma Watson the new Anastasia Steele?

Allow me to stop you right there, folks, before anyone’s panties get twisted up over the newest “50 Shades” rumors.

The adorable “Harry Potter” actress did not accept the highly discussed role of Anastasia Steele in the movie adaptation, despite sudden gossip insisting that no, really, she totally did. Everyone's saying so.

But that’s not to say Watson's not open to it.

Unlike other actresses, (ahem, Kristen Stewart) who have been rumored for the part, Watson did not openly deny any interest in the part. And a non-no could still be a yes, right?

However, the rumors that she had signed on for the steamy flick had gotten so bad of late that Watson’s family was actually asking her questions regarding her part. She felt it was time to set the record straight.

“I haven’t read the book, I haven’t read a script, nothing,” the classy young lady admitted, shutting down talk that the Brit had accepted the role.

So, what do you think about the angel-faced star cast as a glorified sex slave?

Despite her overall “cuteness,” and "aww" factor, Watson’s got some pictures floating around that definitely show she ain’t afraid of a little leather and whips. The rapidly maturing brunette is also growing up to display some smooth, confident skin in on the big screen, parading around in skivvies in flicks like “The Perks of Being a Wallflower."

And sure, she’s got that cute, innocent-but-curious thing going on that the Steele character needs for her sensual transformation from nice girl into sweet sweet nastiness. Yet picturing Hermione tied down and moaning still makes this girl feel a little icky and wrong in her netherbits.

Meanwhile still in the running for Anastasia Steele are “Game of Thrones” star and fan favorite, Emilia Clarke, among a spattering of other actresses who all seem equally surprised to hear they are being considered, or have accepted, the part.
