Raising Hope Gets Extension From FOX
The US family sitcom 'Raising Hope' has managed to notch up strong ratings within just three episodes, and there has now been some good news for the stars and the cast of the show, such as Garret Dillahunt and Lucas Neff.
Television network FOX has decided to extend the number of episodes of the show following on from its initial success.
According to reports, FOX has decided to renew the show for a further nine episodes, which will mean that the show gets extended to a total of twenty two episodes.
The show has been created by Greg Garcia, who said that both the cast and crew of the show had done a wonderful job and deserved the good news about the extension of the show.
Garcia said: "I'm really happy for our incredibly talented cast and very hard-working crew. They have done an amazing job and deserve this. Me? I was looking forward so some time off, but I guess that's not going to happen."
Kevin Reilly, who is the President of Entertainment at Fox, said that the network was very happy with the show and its popularity.
He said: "With Raising Hope, Greg Garcia captures a smart take on the working-class family with a great mix of wild comedy and a big dose of heart. The show is running like a Swiss clock, and we're very happy with how well audiences have responded so far - so we're confident it will build an even bigger audience throughout the season."
