Second 'Royal Pains' Season To Boast Guest Stars From 'My Boys,' 'Dexter,' and 'That '70s Show' Alumni

Second 'Royal Pains' Season To Boast Guest Stars From 'My Boys,' 'Dexter,' and 'That '70s Show' Alumni It looks like a couple new roosters will march into the Hamptons hen house this summer when USA Network’s “Royal Pains” kicks off its sophomore season June 29, according to news from TVLine.

Concierge doctor Hank Lawson’s (Mark Feuerstein) brother Evan (Paulo Costanzo) could have his hands full soon keeping a couple fresh faces from the women in his life. In the second season’s seventh episode, Kyle Howard – most recently, an alum of TBS’ comedy “My Boys” – will debut as Paul Van Dyke, a rival doctor who tries to smooth talk Hank’s lovely assistant Divya Katdare as she embarks on a new job at Hamptons Heritage.

It won’t get easier an episode later. That’s when “That 70's Show” alum Wilmer Valderrama joins the cast as art gallery proprietor Eric. He’ll be taking a very special interest in Evan’s artistically inclined girlfriend Paige Collins’ work while looking for some hands-on experience with the artist herself.

Don’t forget, that’s not where the guest appearances end, either. Two seasons now removed from spending four seasons on Showtime’s hit serial killer drama “Dexter,” Julie Benz will show up in an Aug. 3 episode as a young mother injured in a car crash and treated by Hank.

"Royal Pains" focuses on Hank's rebuilding of his medical profession as a Hamptons concierge doctor, after his career as an ER physician is derailed following being unjustly blamed for a patient's death on his operating table. The series was renewed for an 18-episode second season in September 2010.
