USA Network Releases Summer Schedule Including Two New Series (Watch 'Royal Pains' Promo)
This morning USA Network released it's highly anticipated schedule for summer returns. In addition to providing premiere dates for hit shows "Royal Pains," "Burn Notice," "White Collar," and "Covert Affairs," the network also announced two new original series.
June 7 will kick off the summer lineup with the fifth season premiere of "White Collar" followed by the return of "Covert Affairs."
On June 23, after the return of "Burn Notice," USA will debut a new legal drama titled "Suits." The series follows one of Manhattan's top corporate lawyers who hires a brilliant college dropout as his new associate. The series stars Gabriel Macht of "Love and Other Drugs," Patrick J. Adams of "Lost," Meghan Markle of "CSI: Miami" and Gina Torres of "Gossip Girl."
June 29 brings the third season of "Royal Pains" followed by the launch of another new show "Necessary Roughness." Inspired by a true story, the show focuses on a Long Island divorcee who becomes a sought-after therapist to the rich and powerful - and royally screwed up. The series will star Callie Thorne of "Californication," Marc Blucas of "Buffy, the Vampire Slayer," and Mehcad Brooks of "True Blood."
