Watch Amy Winehouse's Last Music Video: 'Body and Soul' with Tony Bennett
Amy Winehouse would have turned 28 years old today. In memory of that fact, the Winehouse Foundation has launched today, and MTV has released Amy's final music video: her duet with Tony Bennett.
Those who saw the "MTV Video Music Awards" have seen some of this video, as it aired during the tribute to Winehouse toward the end of the show.
It's a simple video, just featuring Winehouse and Bennett working through their duet in a recording studio, but it's quite touching to watch.
Winehouse is alert and professional, a far cry from the state we had seen her in from time to time in the past. It really looks as though she had cleaned up for this.
It's also worth watching to remember just how talented Winehouse was. Jazz singers like her don't come along too often, and Winehouse has been compared to the likes of Billie Holiday and Ella Fitzgerald by Bennett himself. It's almost incongruent to hear that voice come out of that frame.
RIP, Amy, and Happy Birthday...
