Yidio Video of the Day: William Shatner Covers 'Bohemian Rhapsody' If there's one thing you can say about William Shatner, it's that he's totally willing to toss his "Star Trek" legacy aside and do just about anything to get a laugh, especially if it involves making fun of himself.

Which is what this incredibly strange video is all about.

As part of a promotion for his upcoming covers album "Seeking Major Tom," Shatner released a video via YouTube where he plays a man in the moon covering the Queen classic "Bohemian Rhapsody."

Mamma mia is it weird as all hell.

The album will doubtlessly be something special, as it includes covers of the Steve Miller Band (yes, Shatner is a "Space Cowboy," and doubtlessly speaks a pompitous of love), Lyle Lovett, Sheryl Crow, Elton John and more.

But for now, let's take a look at how Captain Kirk handles his turn as Freddy Mercury.
