Watch New York Giants

Founded:Established 1925
Stadium Name:MetLife Stadium

The New York Giants are one of the oldest and most storied teams in the National Football League (NFL). The team has been a member of the NFL since 1925. During that period, the Giants have won four Superbowls and four additional league championships prior to the NFL's merger with the American Football League. The team partook in what has been called the greatest game ever played, the 1958 league championship where they lost to the then Baltimore Colts by a score of 23-17.

Today, the Giants compete in the NFC East, a division of the NFL that includes several other popular teams. As a result, their schedule will include home and away games each year with Dallas, Washington and Philadelphia. This can make tickets hard to come by because Giants fans are hearty supporters of their team and the visiting fans who come to watch the game are equally passionate. Sellouts of Giants games, particularly for these division rivalries, are not uncommon.

Although associated with New York City, the Giants actually have made their home in East Rutherford, New Jersey since 1976. This does not stop fans from coming to watch the Giants in person, as the team has a strong following throughout the New York Metropolitan area.

The Giants most recent Superbowl championship was in the 2011 season, when the Giants rallied from a halftime deficit to beat the New England Patriots by a score of 21–17. The game went down to the wire with the Giants stopping the vaunted Patriots offense on the last play of the game. It has already become another famous chapter in the history of the team Giants fans affectionately call "Big Blue."
