18 to Life is a Canadian television comedy series that aired on The CW from 2010 to 2011. The show follows the lives of two 18-year-old newlyweds, Tom Bellow (Michael Seater) and Jessie Hill (Stacey Farber), who decide to get married on a whim after growing up together as neighbor best friends. The show focuses on the ups and downs of their relationship as they navigate through married life and deal with their families’ reactions to their decision to get married.

Tom, a slacker who can’t stick to one job for too long, is forced to grow up quickly now that he’s married. On the other hand, Jessie is much more mature and responsible, and she is constantly trying to help Tom find his path in life. The couple quickly realizes that getting married so young may not have been the best idea they’ve ever had, but they are determined to make things work. Together, they face new challenges every day and try to figure out what it takes to make a successful marriage.

Tom and Jessie’s families are also a big part of the show, and their different personalities and opinions add to the humor of the show. Tom’s dad, Ben (Peter Keleghan), and Jessie’s mom, Judith (Ellen David), are neighbors and longtime friends who were shocked when their children got married. Throughout the show, they struggle to adjust to the idea of their new family dynamic and constantly butt heads. Additionally, Tom’s mom, Tara (Angela Asher), is a free-spirited artist who has trouble accepting that her son is now a married man, and Jessie’s dad, Phil (Alain Goulem), is a successful businessman who has trouble respecting Tom's lack of ambition.

The show also introduces other characters throughout its two seasons, including Vicki (Arielle Shiri), Tom’s ex-girlfriend who is still in love with him, Monica (Erin Agostino), Jessie’s best friend who harbors secret feelings for Tom, and Carter (Jesse Rath), Tom’s best friend who is constantly getting him into trouble. Kaniehtiio Horn also stars as Tom’s younger sister, who has a rebellious streak and causes a lot of trouble throughout the show.

Overall, 18 to Life is a light-hearted comedy that explores the struggles of young love and family dynamics. The show manages to tackle serious issues like commitment, responsibility, and growing up in a humorous way, making it an enjoyable watch for fans of romantic comedies.

18 to Life is a series that is currently running and has 2 seasons (25 episodes). The series first aired on August 3, 2010.
