Ep 22. What Will Happen to the Gang Next Year?

As Liz Lemon and her staff at TGS wrap up the last episode of the season, they begin to contemplate what the future holds for each of them. With major changes on the horizon, including the impending buyout of NBC by Kabletown and the departure of Tracy Jordan to go live as a recluse in his ancestral home, everyone is uncertain about what lies ahead.

Throughout the episode, each character grapples with their own insecurities and fears about their careers and personal lives. Liz worries that she's peaked and that she doesn't have anything left to offer creatively, while Jenna is convinced that she's doomed to be the next child star turned has-been. Cerie is pregnant and engaged, while Toofer is heading off to grad school. Even Kenneth, the seemingly eternal page, reveals that he's been accepted into a prestigious writers' workshop.

Finally, Liz meets up with Jack, who gives her some sage advice about the inevitability of change and the importance of staying true to oneself. As they say goodbye, Jack reminds Liz that TGS was just a small part of her career, and that she has the potential to do great things in the future.

The episode ends with a moving montage as Liz walks through the empty halls of 30 Rock, reflecting on the past and contemplating the future.
