Ep 2. I'm Home America

Mark, a 58-year-old from Maryland, and Nikki, a 19-year-old from the Philippines, also feature in this episode. Mark has been divorced twice and is hoping that his relationship with Nikki will be his last. However, their age difference and cultural differences prove to be significant sources of tension, with Nikki feeling stifled by Mark's controlling behavior and Mark feeling frustrated by Nikki's lack of interest in his hobbies and friends. As they try to find common ground, both Mark and Nikki learn valuable lessons about compromise and communication.

Kyle, a 29-year-old from New Orleans, and Noon, a 25-year-old from Thailand, are the next couple we meet. Kyle met Noon while traveling in Thailand and fell in love with her spontaneity and adventurous spirit. However, now that she is living with him in the United States, Noon is struggling to adapt to the slower pace of life and the lack of opportunities to pursue her own interests. As Kyle tries to support her through the transition, he realizes that he may have underestimated the challenges that come with building a life with someone from a different culture.

Finally, we meet Melanie, a 33-year-old from Devar, and Devar, a 28-year-old from Jamaica. Melanie fell in love with Devar while on vacation, and the two quickly became inseparable. However, Melanie's family disapproves of their relationship, worried that Devar is just using her for a green card. As they face scrutiny from Melanie's loved ones, Devar struggles to prove his sincerity and commitment to the relationship.

Throughout "I'm Home America," each of these couples must confront their own fears and insecurities as they work to build a life together. From culture clashes to family drama, they face a wide array of challenges that will test their relationships like never before.
