Ep 2. Widows and Orphans

Detective Inspector Frost is back with his unconventional and yet effective approach to solving crimes in the quiet town of Denton. The second victim is revealed to be a local solicitor, who had been working on the wills of both Bernard Pinnock and a wealthy widow in the area, Mrs. Somers. Frost soon realizes that the two cases are connected, and that the murderer is using the deaths of both victims as a way to benefit financially.

Throughout the episode, Frost must navigate through the complexities of the case, while also dealing with the personal issues in his own life. The detective is also struggling with his daughter's pregnancy, which he is finding difficult to come to terms with. Frost's relationship with his superior officer, Superintendent Mullett, also comes under strain, as the two disagree on how to handle the case.
