Cases include Daniel William Hiers Jr., a former Charleston, S.C., police officer wanted for murdering his wife and molesting a 10-year-old; and fugitives wanted for killings in Oklahoma, Louisiana, California, Arizona and Massachusetts. Also: a salute to Maryland state trooper Eric Workman, who has returned to his beat after being shot by a kidnapping-robbery suspect he was pursuing in December 2006. Following the incident, Workman was on life support for two days.
