Ep 7. Lineage

Meanwhile, back at Wolfram & Hart, Fred and Knox work on a project to boost the building's security system. However, their work is interrupted by the arrival of Illyria, who is once again struggling with her identity and her memories of her past life.

Back on the road with Roger, Wes begins to suspect that his father is not being entirely truthful about his intentions for selling the device. His suspicions are confirmed when they are attacked by a group of demons, and Roger reveals that the device is actually a weapon that was developed by his grandmother. As Wes tries to process the information, he is confronted by Roger, who reveals a shocking secret about his past.

The episode culminates in a dramatic showdown between Wes and his father and sets the stage for some major revelations about Wes's family history, as well as the true purpose of the mysterious device that his grandmother created.
