Animaniacs, a popular animated television series that ran from 1993 to 1998, was produced by Warner Bros. Animation and created by Tom Ruegger. The show follows the misadventures of the Warner siblings - Yakko, Wakko, and Dot - as they wreak havoc across the Warner Bros. studio lot, as well as a number of other classic and contemporary cartoon characters.

The Warner siblings, Yakko (voiced by Rob Paulsen), Wakko (voiced by Jess Harnell), and Dot (voiced by Tress MacNeille), are anthropomorphic cartoon characters who were created during the 1930s but were locked away in the Warner Bros. water tower for years after wreaking havoc on the studio. They are finally released from their confinement in the first episode of the show and quickly resume their old habits, causing chaos wherever they go.

Throughout the show's run, Yakko, Wakko and Dot interact with a number of classic and contemporary cartoon characters, including Pinky and the Brain, a pair of lab mice who continually devise new schemes to take over the world; Slappy Squirrel, a retired cartoon star who loves to torment her former co-star, Skippy Squirrel; and the Goodfeathers, a gang of pigeons who mimic the Italian mafia.

The show also features a number of recurring segments, including "Good Idea, Bad Idea," which highlights a series of foolish choices followed by a more reasonable course of action, and "Wheel of Morality," which randomly dispenses moral lessons at the end of each episode.

One of the hallmarks of Animaniacs is its irreverent humor and pop culture references. The show frequently pokes fun at celebrities, politicians, and current events, as well as referencing classic films and TV shows. Its humor often appeals to both children and adults, making it a popular show for the whole family to enjoy.

The show's animation style is notable for its vibrant colors and fluid animation. It blends hand-drawn animation with computer-generated imagery, creating a unique and visually stunning look that helped set it apart from other animated shows of the time.

Overall, Animaniacs was a beloved show that had a significant impact on animation and pop culture in the 90s. It won multiple Emmy Awards during its run and has remained a fan favorite for years, leading to a revival in 2020 on Hulu.

Animaniacs is a series that is currently running and has 5 seasons (114 episodes). The series first aired on January 1, 1993.
