In Auction Hunters season 2 episode 7 titled "The Chi-Town Showdown," Ton and Allen travel to Chicago hoping to strike it big with some valuable items in abandoned storage units. The episode starts with the duo driving through the city, excited about the possibilities of finding great items to sell. Ton points out that the city is the birthplace of deep-dish pizza, but Allen is more interested in finding hidden treasures.

First, they visit a facility that has multiple units up for bid. The bidding gets intense as there are many other buyers also looking for merchandise to sell. Ton and Allen believe that the units that weren't sold in the auction could have something interesting in them. They do secure a deal with the owner of an unsold unit and are excited to explore what's inside.

Their enthusiasm is quickly dashed when they find a pile of junk in the front of the unit that seems to have no value. However, they spot a shadowy figure in the back that they believe is an arcade machine. They manage to move the heavy machine out and take it to a nearby arcade shop. The shop owner confirms that they have a rare 1984 arcade game named Karate Champ, which was the first fighting game ever created. Ton and Allen are thrilled to have made a profit on their first buy.

Next, they visit a sports memorabilia unit, which seems to have a lot of merchandise in it. They bid against another buyer, but the price keeps going up. However, Ton eventually wins the bid and the unit is theirs. They find some sports equipment like baseball gloves and a football helmet, but nothing that stood out. They do find some oversized wrestling props, which they take to a local wrestling academy. The academy owner is impressed with the items, and she buys them for her wrestlers' training.

Ton and Allen then visit a unit that belonged to a pizza parlor. They find a lot of pizza boxes, but also some vintage Chicago sports memorabilia like a 1929 Cubs World Series program, and signed Blackhawks and Bulls championship posters. They also come across a giant pizza oven that takes them a while to figure out how to transport. They take it to a nearby restaurant supply store, where the owner offers to buy it on the spot. They negotiate a good deal and make a decent profit.

In the final unit, Ton and Allen stumble across an array of unique items. They see a $10,000 worth of electronic equipment, and Ton stumbles upon an antique cash register worth around $1,400. They also find vintage records and mid-century furniture that suggests the unit owner was a collector with an eye for unique pieces. They are excited about their finds and curious about the final value of the items.

Overall, Auction Hunters season 2 episode 7, "The Chi-Town Showdown," showcases Ton and Allen's ability to make quick decisions and find high-value items in unlikely places. They explore various storage units, hoping to find treasure, and manage to make a significant profit from their finds. The episode offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of storage auctions, and the thrill of finding hidden gems.
