Ep 3. Lil' Smokie

In Being Human season 4 episode 3, entitled "Lil' Smokie," the three supernatural housemates—ghost Sally, vampire Aidan, and werewolf Josh—continue to navigate their complicated existence.

The episode starts with Aidan coming to terms with his decision to turn Kat into a vampire. He tries to teach her the ropes, but she soon becomes overwhelmed with her new abilities and lack of control. Meanwhile, Josh is dealing with his own issues when Sally tells him that his sister is getting married and she's not too thrilled about his absence.

As the trio tries to navigate their personal struggles, they are approached by a group of young, cocky vampires who are making a living off of hunting down and killing supernaturals. Among the group is a young girl named Wendy, who reminds Aidan of himself before he was turned into a vampire.

Aidan is immediately drawn to Wendy and tries to steer her away from the violent path she's on, but she eventually bites off more than she can chew and finds herself in danger. Josh and Sally join forces to try and rescue her, but things take a turn for the worse when one of the cocky vampires, Lil' Smokie, shows up and decides to take matters into his own hands.

As the group fights for their survival, they all start to realize the importance of their friendship and the need to stick together in order to survive in a world that's becoming more and more dangerous. In the end, they make some tough decisions that will change the course of their lives forever.

"Lil' Smokie" is a poignant episode that highlights the vulnerability of the show's central characters. As they are forced to confront their personal demons and the dangers of the world around them, they begin to realize that they are all they have and that their bond is what keeps them human in a world that wants to strip them of their humanity.
