In Bering Sea Gold season 3 episode 8, titled "Money Money Money," the crews are feeling the pressure to get as much gold as possible before the season comes to an end. The Pomrenke crew is struggling to find gold at their inland mine site and must decide whether to continue there or move on to a new location.
Meanwhile, the Kelly family is doing well at their new spot and have already found over $68,000 worth of gold. But their good fortune takes a turn when a storm hits and damages their equipment, forcing them to shut down operations temporarily.
Over at the inland mine, the Pomrenke crew decides to take a risk and move to a new location they believe will yield better results. But as they start to haul in pay dirt, their dredge gets stuck in shallow water, slowing down their progress.
The Emily crew is having their own problems, as their dredge is in need of repairs. But with time running out on the season, they must figure out a way to keep dredging while making the necessary repairs.
As tensions rise and the pressure to find gold mounts, the crews are pushed to their limits. But with the promise of riches waiting just beneath the surface, they continue to fight on in hopes of striking it big before the season ends.
