Ep 3. We're in for a Bad Spell

Samantha is getting ready for a big charity event to raise money for a local hospital when she suddenly loses her magical powers due to a cosmic alignment. Darrin is less than thrilled when he finds out, as he believes Samantha's powers cause more trouble than they're worth.

Desperate to regain her powers before the event, Samantha gets her hands on a special potion that promises to restore them. However, the potion has an unintended side effect - it gives her a bad case of hiccups that won't let up.

As Samantha struggles to get her hiccups under control, Darrin faces his own woes at the advertising agency where he works. His boss, Larry, has tasked him with coming up with a new campaign for a breakfast cereal, but the only idea that comes to mind is inspired by Samantha's hiccuping - "Lucky Hiccups" cereal.

Larry hates the idea, but a stroke of luck (or perhaps magic?) leads them to discover that the rival ad agency has already come up with a similar concept. Suddenly, "Lucky Hiccups" looks like a brilliant idea to Larry - until Darrin tells him it was inspired by Samantha's lost powers.

Meanwhile, Samantha's mother, Endora, takes advantage of her daughter's powerless state to wreak havoc on Darrin. She transforms him into a frog and sends him leaping around the house, trying to catch flies. Samantha finally regains her powers as Darrin is about to become a permanent frog, and she turns Endora's spell against her own mother, temporarily turning her into a toad.

With everyone back to their normal forms and Samantha's powers restored, the charity event goes off without a hitch - or any hiccups.
