Ep 12. Bleach 12

Ichigo and Orihime are walking home from school when they hear a scream. They follow the sound and find a girl, Tatsuki, being attacked by a Hollow. Ichigo and Orihime try to help, but the Hollow is tough and quickly overpowers them.

Just when all seems lost, a mysterious figure appears and defeats the Hollow with ease. The figure introduces himself as Uryu Ishida, a Quincy who has come to Karakura Town to eliminate the Hollows that plague the area. He challenges Ichigo to a competition to see who can destroy the most Hollows over the next three days.

Meanwhile, a group of Hollows have invaded the Soul Society and are wreaking havoc. The Soul Reapers are powerless against them, as they are a new type of Hollow that can eat other Hollows and grow stronger. The captain of the 11th Division, Kenpachi Zaraki, decides to take matters into his own hands and goes after the Hollows himself.

Ichigo, Orihime, and Uryu continue their battle to see who can eliminate more Hollows. Uryu reveals that he comes from a long line of Quincy, a race of people who have the ability to control spiritual energy and use it to defeat Hollows. He also reveals that Soul Society and the Quincy have a long-standing feud, as the Quincy were once hunted by the Soul Reapers in an attempt to eliminate all spiritual beings.

As the three continue their competition, they come across a group of Hollows that are unlike any they've seen before. Uryu identifies them as the same type that are causing problems in the Soul Society. He decides to investigate and leaves Ichigo and Orihime to continue their contest.

Meanwhile, Kenpachi Zaraki's battle with the Hollows in the Soul Society intensifies. He is badly injured and is forced to retreat. Just when all seems lost, he is approached by a strange man named Yoruichi Shihoin, who offers to help him defeat the Hollows.

Back in Karakura Town, Uryu discovers that the new type of Hollow is being controlled by a mysterious figure. He realizes that the figure is a Soul Reaper and confronts him. The Soul Reaper reveals himself to be none other than Captain Aizen, the same captain who was supposedly killed by a Hollow several episodes ago.

Aizen reveals that he orchestrated the entire incident in order to create a new type of Hollow that would be immune to the Soul Reapers' attacks. He also reveals that he is after a powerful artifact known as the Hogyoku, which has the power to grant the wishes of whoever possesses it.

Uryu tries to stop Aizen, but is quickly defeated. Ichigo and Orihime arrive on the scene and confront Aizen themselves. Aizen reveals that Ichigo's powers are a result of him being a hybrid of Human and Soul Reaper, and that he plans to use the Hogyoku to unlock Ichigo's full potential.

The episode ends with Ichigo and Aizen facing off, with Orihime and Uryu watching from the sidelines.
