In the Blue Bloods season 2 episode 20, titled Working Girls, the Reagan family is faced with one of their most challenging cases yet. The episode begins with Danny Reagan, played by Donnie Wahlberg, investigating the murder of a young prostitute named Tina. While interviewing her friends and colleagues, he discovers that she was blackmailed into working for a shady massage parlor by a man named Mickey.

Meanwhile, Erin Reagan-Boyle, played by Bridget Moynahan, is preparing to prosecute a wealthy businessman named Richard for the rape of a young girl. Richard's lawyer, played by guest star Titus Welliver, is putting up a tough defense and Erin must work hard to ensure justice is served. To complicate matters, Erin's ex-husband Jack is also involved in the case as Richard's business partner.

At the same time, Jamie Reagan, played by Will Estes, is assigned to a community outreach program in a tough neighborhood. He befriends a young boy named Tommy who is struggling to avoid falling into a life of crime. Jamie tries to help Tommy turn his life around, but he soon realizes that his own police colleagues may be the biggest obstacle to positive change in the neighborhood.

As the episode progresses, the three Reagan siblings find themselves dealing with different aspects of the same problem: the exploitation of vulnerable young women. Danny must find evidence to bring down Mickey and his operation, Erin must fight for the victim of sexual assault against powerful defendants, and Jamie must navigate the complex web of power and corruption that plagues the neighborhood.

All three of them are challenged physically, mentally, and emotionally throughout the episode. Each character's arc is compelling in its own right, but the real strength of this episode is how it ties everything together thematically. The Reagan family constantly debates the morality of their work, and this episode asks the tough questions without providing any easy answers.

The performances across the board are excellent, especially from the guest stars. Titus Welliver brings a slimy aura to his conniving lawyer, and Malcolm Goodwin is heartbreaking as the grieving boyfriend of Tina. And, of course, Tom Selleck is as commanding as ever in his role as family patriarch Frank Reagan.

Ultimately, Working Girls is a standout episode in an already impressive series. It tackles tough issues with nuance and sensitivity, while still delivering plenty of exciting police procedural action. Fans of the show won't want to miss this one.
