Ep 8. Contraband Cargo

Border Wars season 3 episode 8, titled "Contraband Cargo," focuses on the efforts of Border Patrol agents to intercept illegal cargo being smuggled into the United States.

The episode begins with agents in Calexico, California conducting an inspection of a large semi truck that has been flagged as suspicious. Next, the show shifts its focus to Tunnel Task Force agents in Nogales, Arizona, who have received a tip about a cross-border tunnel being used to smuggle drugs into the United States. The agents work to locate the entrance to the tunnel, using specialized equipment to detect any underground activity. As they close in on the tunnel, they confront a group of smugglers attempting to unload drugs on the U.S. side of the border.

The episode then moves to Brownsville, Texas, where Border Patrol agents have been alerted to a suspicious boat crossing the Rio Grande river. Using night vision goggles, the agents observe the boat's movements and track it as it makes its way downriver. When the boat finally lands on the U.S. side of the border, agents discover several bundles of cocaine hidden on board and arrest the suspects responsible.

The final segment of the episode takes place in Yuma, Arizona, where agents are alerted to a group of suspected illegal immigrants crossing the border. As the agents approach the suspects, they attempt to flee, leading to a tense foot pursuit through the desert. After a long chase, the agents are able to apprehend all of the suspects and take them into custody.
