Ep 5. Hometown Hero

In Boy Meets World season 3 episode 5 "Hometown Hero," Cory, Shawn, and Topanga are excited to participate in the school's annual Veterans Day assembly. However, their enthusiasm quickly turns to disappointment when they realize that the school administration has assigned them to mundane tasks like hanging banners and making coffee.

His classmate, Minkus, presents on a local fireman who saved a family from a burning building, and Cory realizes that heroes come in all shapes and sizes.

As the assembly approaches, the students anxiously wait to see if their tribute to veterans will be well-received. When the assembly begins, they are surprised to find that the administration has put together a lackluster presentation that fails to honor the sacrifices of veterans. In a bold move, Cory, Shawn, and Topanga take the stage and present their tribute, which leaves the entire auditorium in tears.
