Reptile Boy is the fifth episode of Buffy The Vampire Slayer's season 2. In this episode, Buffy, Willow and Cordelia attend a frat party without knowing that it's hosted by a demon who sacrifices the girls to a snake-like creature in order to maintain his immortality.

As usual, the episode begins with Buffy patrolling the cemetery and kicking some vampire butts. The next day, Cordelia convinces Buffy and Willow to attend a party thrown by the popular fraternity Delta Zeta Kappa. Buffy hesitates at first because of the frat boys' reputation for offensive behavior towards women, but Cordelia assures her that they will be fine as long as they stick together. Unbeknownst to them, the frat party is really a front for a demon named Machida, who needs virgin girls to sacrifice to a giant snake deity named Makita to prolong his own immortal life. Buffy and her friends become the targets of Machida's plan.

While Buffy and Willow are at the party, they get separated from Cordelia. Willow becomes uncomfortable with the party and leaves, but Buffy is captured by Machida, who plans to sacrifice her to Makita. Cordelia, who is searching for Buffy, runs into Giles and Xander, who are researching the demon's past. Meanwhile, Buffy manages to free herself from Machida and joins Cordelia, Giles and Xander to stop the demon's plan. They discover that Machida has been sacrificing girls to Makita for centuries, and that the only way to defeat him is to destroy Makita's shrine.

The gang infiltrates the frat house and finds Makita's shrine, but they are captured by Machida and his frat brothers. While waiting for the sacrifice ritual to begin, Buffy and her friends manage to break free and fight Machida and his minions. Meanwhile, the giant snake Makita is unleashed and starts causing chaos. Buffy eventually destroys the shrine, causing Makita to implode and destroy Machida in the process. The episode ends with the girls and Giles reflecting on the dangers of frat parties and the importance of looking out for each other.

Overall, Reptile Boy is a thrilling yet cautionary tale about the dangers of going to frat parties without knowing who is hosting them. The episode showcases Buffy's fighting skills and resourcefulness, as she manages to save herself and her friends from the clutches of a powerful demon. It also highlights the importance of friendship and trust, as Buffy relies on her friends and Giles to help her stop Machida's plan. Finally, the episode touches on the theme of power and its corrupting influence, as Machida becomes obsessed with his own immortality and sacrifices innocent girls to maintain it.
