Cajun Pawn Stars is an American reality television series that follows the day-to-day activities of the Silver Dollar Pawn & Jewelry Center in Alexandria, Louisiana. The shop is owned by Jimmie DeRamus and his brother Johnnie who inherited the pawn business from their father, who started it in the 1980s. The fourth season, which premiered on June 26, 2013, features 38 episodes.

Episode 4 of season 4 of Cajun Pawn Stars is titled "Dog Duty." In this episode, several unusual items come into the shop, including a four-row corn planter from the 1940s, a World War II-era German bayonet, and an antique toolbox that was left outside for years and is now covered in rust.

The primary story in this episode, however, revolves around a rare and unusual item that comes into the shop: a 1954 Dennis Fire Engine. The Dennis is an antique British fire apparatus that was originally built for use in the United Kingdom, but was eventually sold and ended up in the United States. The owner of the Dennis tells the DeRamus brothers that he bought it at an auction and has been restoring it for the past several years. However, he's now decided that he wants to sell it, as he no longer has the time or resources to devote to restoring it anymore.

Jimmie, Johnnie, and their team all take a look at the Dennis, which is parked outside the shop. They note that it's in pretty good condition, considering its age, but it's missing a few parts, including the bell, which would have been attached to the top of the vehicle. They also note that it's going to take a significant amount of time and money to restore the Dennis to its former glory.

Despite the challenges, the DeRamus brothers are intrigued by the Dennis and decide to make an offer to buy it. They haggle with the owner for a while and end up making a deal. Once they've agreed on a price, they take possession of the Dennis and bring it into the shop.

Once the Dennis is inside, they start examining it more carefully. They immediately notice that there are a lot of missing parts, including the bell and the hoses. They also note that the tires are quite old and in need of replacement. They decide that before they can sell the Dennis, they need to spend some time restoring it.

Over the course of several days, the DeRamus brothers and their team work on the Dennis, replacing tires, installing hoses, and polishing the brass. They also search for a replacement bell and eventually find one that's the right size and style.

After several days of hard work, the Dennis is once again in perfect condition. Jimmie and Johnnie decide that it's time to put it up for sale and they list it for $42,000, which is more than they paid for it. However, they note that the Dennis is a rare and unique item that's likely to appeal to collectors and enthusiasts.

Meanwhile, other items continue to come into the shop. One woman brings in a grandfather clock that she found in her aunt's attic. The clock is in rough shape, but the DeRamus brothers see potential in it and decide to buy it. They also purchase a classic Zenith radio from the 1930s and a vintage Coca-Cola cooler.

As always, there are a few challenges along the way. One customer is feisty and argumentative, while another tries to sell the DeRamus brothers a fake gold watch. However, the team handles each situation with humor and professionalism.

In the end, the DeRamus brothers are pleased with the items they've acquired and the work they've done on the Dennis. They note that it's always challenging to run a pawn business but that the rewards are worth it. Their love of unique and unusual items is evident throughout the episode, and their enthusiasm for their work is infectious. Fans of the show will no doubt enjoy watching as they deal with the challenges that come their way and showcase their expertise in appraising and restoring rare items.
