Ep 12. Deep Cover

In the twelfth episode of Castle's sixth season, titled "Deep Cover," Detective Kate Beckett and writer Richard Castle are thrown into a case that has personal connections for Beckett. When a young woman is found dead, and her killer is left behind a clue in the form of an encrypted message, Beckett must call in some help from her past. She enlists the help of her old training officer, Detective Slaughter, to help crack the code.

But as they delve deeper into the case, it becomes clear that there's more to this murder than meets the eye. The victim, Angela, was an undercover agent, and her death may have been connected to her work. With Slaughter's help, Beckett goes deep undercover to try and find out what Angela was investigating, and to try and catch her killer.

Being undercover comes with its own set of challenges, however. Beckett must convince those around her that she's an old acquaintance of Angela's, all while piecing together clues and keeping her true identity a secret. Meanwhile, Castle is left on the sidelines, struggling with the fact that he can't be the one to help Beckett solve this case.

As the investigation continues, the stakes get higher, and Beckett and Slaughter find themselves in increasingly dangerous situations. With each step they take, they get closer to the truth about Angela's death and the organization she was investigating. But as they get closer to the truth, they also get closer to the danger that comes with uncovering a major conspiracy.

Meanwhile, back at the precinct, Detective Ryan is dealing with a personal crisis of his own. His wife Jenny has gone into labor, and he's struggling to get to the hospital in time. As he rushes to be by her side, he finds himself facing one obstacle after another. Will he make it to the hospital in time for the birth of his child?

"Deep Cover" is a tense and thrilling episode of Castle, with plenty of twists and turns to keep viewers on the edge of their seats. Beckett's deep undercover work adds a new level of excitement to the show, and the personal connections to the case make it all the more engaging. Fans of the show will love seeing their favorite characters pushed to their limits as they work to solve another complex case.
