Chuggington is a computer generated children's show that was originally aired on the BBC. In America it can be seen on the Disney channel during Disney Junior. All of the trains that are depicted on the show are modeled after real trains. There are three main characters in the show; they are younger trains or chuggers. Wilson is a red engine who gets distracted easily even though he has the best intentions. Koko is a green and purple electric bullet train who is well meaning but loves a good adventure or race. This tends to get her in trouble once in a while but she is always willing to apologize. Finally there is Brewster who is sweet and can haul large loads, he will be the one to ask questions if he is unsure of a task or gets confused.
There are older trains that the younger trainees learn from. Among the most recognized are M'tambo who gives tours at the safari park. Puffer Pete is over 150 years old and the oldest train in the depot. Dunbar guides and directs the trainees as he is the main teaching train. There are many more and they love to teach the trainees many lessons.
The trains also interact with human characters as well. Eddie is the depot handyman who is often called to fix problems the trainees find. There is also Morgan who is the mechanic for all of the trains. They go to him when there is something wrong. There are also humans at each station in chuggington that the trains interact with on a daily basis.
During the episodes the trainees learn to listen to their elders and learn from them. They learn to follow directions by listening to Vee the depot announcer and dispatcher. They learn to work as a team as they are assigned tasks by the older chuggers around the station.
