Ep 4. Really Sweet 16

In season 2, episode 4 of Counting Cars, titled "Really Sweet 16," the crew at the Count's Kustoms shop are tasked with building a one-of-a-kind birthday present for a very special young lady.

The episode begins with the team meeting with the client's parents to go over the details of the project. The young girl in question is turning 16, and her parents want to surprise her with a custom-made car. They have a few specific requests, including making sure the car is pink and silver, has plenty of horsepower, and has a stereo system that will blow her socks off.

Danny and the crew get to work on the car, which they decide will be a 1965 Cadillac DeVille. The team is excited about this project, as they don't often get to work on classic cars like this. The first step is to dismantle the car and get it up on the lift for a full inspection. They find some rust and other issues that need to be addressed, but overall the car is in decent shape for its age.

Once they have a better idea of what they're working with, the team gets to work on the bodywork. They start by removing the old paint and rust and smoothing out any dents or imperfections. They then sand down the car and prepare it for a fresh coat of paint. The parents have requested a two-tone pink and silver color scheme, which the crew thinks will look great on the Cadillac.

While the bodywork is being done, the crew also works on the engine and transmission. They want to make sure this car has plenty of power, so they decide to swap out the old engine for a newer, more powerful one. They also install a new exhaust system, which will give the car a great sound.
