Crowded is a sitcom from NBC that revolves around the lives of an adult couple, their two children, and both sets of their parents who move in with them unannounced, creating unwanted living arrangements. The show premiered in March 2016 and was cancelled after just one season due to low viewership.

The series follows the lives of the family members who navigate the challenges of living in a crowded house. Mike (Patrick Warburton) and Martina (Carrie Preston) are a middle-aged couple with two grown-up daughters who have moved back home due to various reasons. Their youngest daughter, Stella (Miranda Cosgrove), is fresh out of college and struggling to find a job while their eldest daughter, Shea (Mia Serafino), is going through a difficult divorce and needing her parents' support.

The situation takes an unexpected turn when Mike's father, Bob (Stacy Keach), moves in with them after his retirement community is shut down, followed by Martina's father, Arthur (Peter Gallagher), who is going through a midlife crisis and needs a place to stay. The couple's initial plans of living alone are foiled as they struggle to accommodate their parents' needs and adjust to living with their extended family.

Crowded is a hilarious show that explores the dynamics of a multigenerational home, where everyone has their own set of quirks and demands. The show focuses on the humorous situations that arise when a family with different personalities and lifestyles is forced to live in the same space.

Aside from the comic interplay between the family members, Crowded also touches on relevant issues such as job loss, divorce, and trying to figure out how to financially maintain a household on a single income. It accurately portrays the difficulties that many families face in modern-day America.

One of the highlights of the show is the excellent cast, who bring their A-game to each episode. Patrick Warburton, who is known for his deep voice and serious demeanor, plays the role of Mike, the exasperated father who is trying to juggle the demands of his family and his job. Carrie Preston, who has been praised for her work in The Good Wife, portrays Martina, the overworked mom who is struggling to keep her family together.

Miranda Cosgrove, who rose to fame as a child actor on Nickelodeon's iCarly, plays the role of Stella, the ambitious and driven daughter who is trying to make a name for herself. Mia Serafino, who plays the role of Shea, brings a sense of vulnerability to her character, who is going through a difficult time in her life.

Stacy Keach and Peter Gallagher add to the hilarity of the show, playing the roles of the two grandfathers who have moved in with the family. Keach's character, Bob, is a retired astronaut who is struggling to adjust to civilian life, while Gallagher's character, Arthur, is going through a midlife crisis and trying to recapture his youth.

Overall, Crowded is a light-hearted and entertaining sitcom that is perfect for those who enjoy family comedies. While it only lasted for one season, the show has gained a cult following and is still watched by fans to this day. If you're looking for a show that will make you laugh and tug at your heartstrings, Crowded is definitely worth checking out.
